સ્વર્ગવાસ:  ફેબ્રુઆરી ૧૩, ૨૦૦૯

મારા સ્વર્ગસ્થ સસરાશ્રીનું આ કેનવાસ પર પેન્સિલ સ્કેચથી બનાવેલ ચિત્ર છે.
આજે ફાધર્સ ડે નિમિત્તે  એઓની ખોટ સાલે છે. પ્રભુ એમના આત્માને ચિર શાંતિ બક્ષે એ જ પ્રાર્થના.

    very nice oil painting. I have two paintings of my own in water color of Banff near Calgary where I stay sing 2004. Before that I was in Toronto.. I was doing portrait in pencil and charcoal in seventies.
    Your pencil sketch is also nice.

    કલા દિલથી ઉપજે છે. બસ જરૂર હોય છે તેને નિખારવાની. આ મનુષ્યને આરામના પળની શાંતિ અને માનસિક શાંતિ આપે છેકલાનુ મહત્વ સંસારમાં ઘણુ છે. વાસ્તવમાં જ્યારે વ્યક્તિને જીંદગીમાં શાંતિની અને ખુશીના ક્ષણની જરૂર હોય છે ત્યારે તે કલાની મદદ લે છે. કલા તેને આરામ અને ખુશી આપે છે અને સાથે સાથે તેનો શોખ પણ પૂરો થાય છે. સભ્યતા, કાવ્યની કલા, મૂર્તિકલા સહિત દુનિયાની સાત કલાઓમાં માણસ જ્યા સુધી રસ નથી લેતો ત્યાં સુધી તેને માનસિક સંતુષ્ટિ નથી મળતી અને એ ભટકતો રહે છે. કલા આપણને માનસિક શાંતિ પ્રદાન કરે છે
